THE VAUGHN’S

Between battling sickness and balancing the course load this month we feel we got a little glimpse of the realities we may face overseas. The world doesn't stop when your kids get fevers. CLA doesn't stop when you're not feeling well. There are seasons when life feels like it is moving at the speed of light. The question isn't how long will this take, it is how much time are you willing to give?

Mature Church

Bringing a church to maturity in Animistic or folk-religious contexts is complex. We've learned biblical church planting principles from laborers that have faithfully taken the gospel into some of the darkest places in the world. We will need much wisdom and patience from the Lord to see a mature church established amongst an unreached people group.

Missionary Technology

We are so grateful there are men and women committed to using their gifts to further serve the Body of Christ. We couldn't do cross-cultural church planting if these people weren't committed to sending and keeping us out in the bush.

Pit Crew

It was an encouraging time getting to pray and share with the people that love and support us through their time and energy!

We also had a call with Dan and Madison who have just arrived in Mexico! They are learning Spanish and Mexican culture currently but hope to take the gospel to an unreached people group! There are still so many who don't know the truth about Jesus down there! Appleton City Fellowship

We are investing in these kids for the future! We talk about Christ’s second coming but so many have yet to hear about His first coming. Our prayer is for laborers. Please continue to pray with us.

• Roman turned 2! Malachi is 6 months!

• We are thankful to be over the sickness

• Geoffery gets to be one of the speakers at Graduation!

This Month’s Prayer Requests

• Wisdom and discernment in parenting. That we can teach Roman first-time obedience

• Geoffery is going on a 4 day Hike next Friday. Pray for safety and good fellowship with the other 12 men

• We are giving one of the Youth kids an opportunity to teach at Youth Group next week. Pray for Gabriel!
